FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: write-once disc includes a plurality of update areas in which to record a predetermined type of updated information, at least one main access information area (AIA) for recording main access information (AI), and at least one sub AIA for recording AI. Main AI indicates the final update area in which finally updated information is recorded. Sub AI indicates location of the finally updated information recorded in the final update area. Main AI is recorded several times in the entire recording unit in the said at least one main AIA.
