<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot air type heater preventing a malfunction due to hot air and having a human body detection means for securely recognizing only human bodies. <P>SOLUTION: A burner 2 and a combustion chamber 8 are provided within a frame body 1, and the combustion chamber 8 is arranged in an air blowing path 5 penetrating through front and rear sides of the frame body 1. An air flow passing through the air blowing path 5 by an air blower 6 for convection is converted to hot air and is blown out from the blow-out port 7. The human body detection means 9 for detecting presence of human bodies in the neighborhood is provided in the frame body 1. The human body detection means 9 is provided with a human body sensor arranged on the surface of the frame body 1 facing the blow-out direction of the hot air and with a timer means for starting counting when the human body sensor detects change in a heat ray, and the timer means is operated while the human body sensor maintains the detection state of the change in the heat ray. The human body detection means 9 recognizes absence of a person when count time of the timer means is shorter than set time, and recognizes presence of a person when the count time of the timer means exceeds the set time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
