<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sleeping condition measuring apparatus capable of routinely and idealistically measuring the sleeping condition of a user. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The sleeping condition measuring apparatus includes: the first detecting part 131 for detecting the body movement of the user; a determining part 132 for determining the first timing indicating the initiating sleep of the user and the second timing indicating the awaking of the user, based on the body movement; the second detecting part 122 for detecting the pulse wave interval of the user; an acquiring part 140 for acquiring the first index indicating the activity of a sympathetic nerve in the user and the second index indicating the activity of a parasympathetic nerve in the user, based on the pulse wave interval; the first calculating part 150 for calculating the dominant degree of the second index over the first index by each prescribed time; and the second calculating part 160 for calculating the third index indicating the quality of the sleep of the user from the first timing to the second timing through the use of the dominant degree and a weight to be reduced with respect to passage time from the first timing.
