<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a SONET/SDH frame, in which packets of the same contents are mapped, respectively from an active system and a standby system while maintaining versatility for SONET/SDH network-side output bands. <P>SOLUTION: The number of packet passed bytes is integrated and based on results of the relevant integration, a packet to be mapped in the head of a frame is predetermined (packet "A" or packet "G"). Further, a marker storing e.g., information indicating a starting position of mapping is imparted to the relevant packet. For an Ether-over-SONET/SDH (EoS) card of active and standby systems, a mapping position is controlled on the basis of the relevant marker and when mapping the packet with the marker, the marker is separated and then, mapping is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
