<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grain thresher for a full-volume makeup type combine that can prevent simultaneous collision of comb teeth with an object being threshed, while employing a configuration ensuring to operate the comb teeth properly even for the object being threshed that is easily corded. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Comb teeth 41 on a comb body 30 provided at a grain thresher 14 are placed along a first spiral 81 to bring the comb body 30 in line with an axis line. The comb teeth 41 and comb teeth 41 in abutment with the comb teeth 41 in the axial direction of the comb body 30 are disposed to be out of phase and to overlap only partly viewing from the axial direction. A series of comb teeth 41, wherein the adjacent comb teeth 41 overlap partly in the axial direction of the comb body 30, are placed along a second spiral 82, which is coaxial and the same in the winding direction with the first spiral 81, and has a pitch greater compared with the first spiral 81.
