A vibration-damping device (1) is provided with a tubular first mounting member (6), a second mounting member (7), a rubber elastic body (8), a diaphragm (5), and a partitioning member (4). The partitioning member (4) consists as a whole of an elastic substance. The first mounting member (6) is provided with a projection (60) and a first tubular section (62). An annular hard member (50) is mounted on the inner side of the first tubular section (62), and the hard member (50) is provided with a second tubular section (53) and a supporting section (54). Further, either of the first and second tubular sections (62, 53) is mounted on the inner side of the other. A member (6) having the other tubular section (62) has formed thereon an engaging section (60) with which one end of the one tubular member (53) is engaged and also has a staking section (64) bent radially inward to lock the other end of the one tubular section (53). The one tubular section (53) is sandwiched between the engaging section (60) and the staking section (64), and the partitioning member (4) is held between the projection section (60) and the supporting section (54). The vibration-damping device (1) can, even if the partitioning member consisting of the elastic substance is used therein, stably maintain characteristics thereof while reliably maintaining sealing ability thereof. |
