<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can process a poor print in variable printing appropriately, and can reduce the time, labor and cost required for confirming a print document including personal information. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a first develop section for developing first kind data common to the entire printing and second kind data which is different for every print part and being embedded in the first kind data at the time of printing into image data; a second develop section different from the first develop section; an image forming section 1 for forming an image on a recording medium based on the image data developed at the first develop section; a seal section 80 for sealing the recording medium on which an image is formed at the image forming section 1 in an envelope; and an image pick-up section 50 for picking up the image of the recording medium and creating imaging data, wherein inspection is conducted by comparing the image data developed at the second develop section with the imaging data created at the image pick-up section 50, and the recording medium is not sealed at the seal section 80 when a failure is found on the recording medium by inspection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
