<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording method capable of preventing the occurrence of curl and cockle even when a general purpose printing paper is used in the image recording method using a reacting liquid and an ink composition. <P>SOLUTION: The image recording method comprises: a pretreatment liquid applying process of applying a pretreatment liquid containing a fluorine type surface active agent onto a recording medium; a reacting liquid applying process of applying a reacting liquid containing a reacting agent which is brought into contact with an ink composition to produce an aggregate, onto the recording medium having the pretreatment liquid applied thereon; and an ink applying process of applying an ink composition comprising a colorant, resin fine particles, a water soluble organic solvent and water onto the recording medium onto which the pretreatment liquid is applied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
