摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulsed light source apparatus of lightweight and high stability for a multi-photon imaging equipment, which can improve an SNR by a comparatively simple configuration without using a synchronous circuit and an active time gate. <P>SOLUTION: A light amplification/transmission otpical system includes an electrical pulse generator (20) which outputs a single electrical pulse or a plurality of electrical pulses at a predetermined period, a quantum dot semiconductor laser (10) which transits from non-oscillating state to oscillating state to emit light pulses by gain switch drive, responding to the electrical pulse output from the electrical pulse generator (20), and a light amplifier (50) which amplifies the light pulse emitted from the quantum dot semiconductor laser (10), wherein the light amplification transmission optical systems (30, 40, 50, 60) are equipped in which the non-oscillating state and the oscillating state of the quantum dot semiconductor laser (10) has a constant pulse gain. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
