The system (1) has two balloons (3, 4) for supporting and displaying stents (2), and an opening (16) for laterally inserting a bypass tube (11) adjacent to the balloons. The bypass tube is inserted into a side branch during entire engagement of a stent implant and intervention in a region of the side branch. The balloons proximally and distally lie under the stents, and are provided with a section of the system without passing a balloon portion into the section. The opening is formed between the balloons. An independent claim is also included for a method for implanting a stent in a region of a region of coronary branches.
