The method involves identifying a radiolabel (7) in an identification zone (Z5) by controlling an emission of a radio frequency signal of identification data transmission. The radiolabel is located in a location zone (Z4) by controlling an emission of the radio frequency signal and a low frequency signal, and by conditioning the transmission and recognition of the identification data of the label only during reception of the low frequency signal whose level is higher than the predetermined threshold, by the radiolabel. An independent claim is also included for a hands-free access system comprising a portable remote control case.
