<p>A stowable vehicle seat having improved operability. The stowable vehicle seat has a seat support (25) for supporting a seat cushion (11) such that the seat cushion (11) can pivot in the front-rear direction, a seatback (12) capable of being folded on the seat cushion (11) and provided with a reclining mechanism (27), a stowage recess (5) formed on the vehicle floor (4) side, a front leg (14) provided at the front of the seat cushion (11), a leg locking means capable of engaging and disengaging locking between the front leg (14) and the vehicle floor (4) side, a link mechanism (30) connected to the reclining mechanism (27) and to the leg locking means, and a strap (20) capable of operating the reclining mechanism (27) and the leg locking means through the link mechanism (30). The seatback (12) can be locked in a folded position by stowing operation performed by pulling of the strap (20).</p> |
