<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating input device which is hard to be damaged during transportation and during assembling. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The operating input device is composed of a base 10 around a center of which an elastic lock receiving portion 12 is cut upward, a printed circuit board 20 on which push-button switches 31b-3e are mounted on a same circumference and moreover a Hall element 26 is mounted and which is integrally laminated on the base 10, a ring shaped operation board 45 of which the inner circumferential portion is locked unremovable with the elastic lock receiving portion 12 of the base 10 and is mounted on the push-button switches 31b-31e of the printed circuit board 20, an operation dial 50 of which the bottom surface is integrated with a ring shaped magnet 53 on a concentric circle and is mounted on the ring shaped operation board 45, and a fixing piece 60 which is inserted in a locking hole 51 of the operation dial 50 and of which the lower edge portion is locked with the elastic lock receiving portion 12 of the base 10 and which is locked unremovable with an inner circumferential portion of the operation dial 50.
