<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst device for cleaning an exhaust gas having a plurality of exhaust-gas-cleaning functions while suppressing the loss of an exhaust gas pressure and ensuring excellent exhaust-gas-cleaning performances. <P>SOLUTION: A rear stage catalyst device 42 coated with an ammonia selective reduction catalyst component, as a second catalyst component, which selectively reduces nitrogen oxide in an exhaust gas by using ammonia as a reduction agent on a carrier 42a formed by containing an oxidizing catalyst, a first catalyst component, is arranged in the downstream side of an ammonia selective reduction type NOx catalyst device 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
