ELECTRODE ASSEMBLY AND SECONDARY BATTERY HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An electrode assembly is provided to prepare a secondary battery with excellent low temperature cycle characteristic without causing assembly fault of a battery. CONSTITUTION: An electrode assembly includes two plates and a separator isolating two plates. The separator includes a polyolefin-based resin film and a porous membrane bonded by a ceramic material and binder. The mean roughness(Ra) value of center line of the porous membrane is 0.3 ~ 1.5μm. The porosity of the polyolefin-based resin film is 30 ~ 60%. The compression ratio of the polyolefin-based resin film is 4 ~ 10%.
