<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage electric water hater can properly set a time zone to execute "automatic power saving" by accurately detecting the use of hot water without additionally using a thermistor, and achieve superior power saving effect. <P>SOLUTION: This storage electric water heater 10 includes a hot water storage tank 11, a solenoid valve 19 disposed in a water supply pathway 30, a heater 12 for heating the water in the hot water storage tank 11, a thermistor 13 for detecting a temperature of hot water in the hot water storage tank 11, and a control means 14. The control means 14 has a function for controlling power distribution to the heater 12 on the basis of the detection temperature of the thermistor 13, and a function for opening and closing the solenoid valves 19, 20 on the basis of signals from a hot water-side switch 15h and a water-side switch 15c. The control means 14 has a timer for counting a time in an opening state of the solenoid valve 19, and the power is distributed to the heater 12 in the hot water storage tank 11 while saving power in the time zone when the accumulation time of the timer per a unit time is small. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
