<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyboard device allowing multiple push-down, capable of preventing a malfunction, without providing a current turn-in-around preventive diode. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This keyboard device is provided with a plurality of key switches SW provided in points crossed with a plurality of X-lines and Y-lines, a scan line memory 14 for storing temporarily a keyboard scanned result, a RAM 14 for storing a settled key input, a determination means for determining the presence of an on-key of two key switches or more in a data for one scan line stored in the scan memory, and a means (control part) 10 for reading out the data of the last scan line previous to the corresponding scan line, from the RAM 14, when the on-key of two key switches or more is determined to exist by the determination means, for comparing the data of the scan line memory with the data read out by a reading means, and for determining the turn-in-around with the on-key of the two key switches existing in the same Y-line.
