<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell electrocatalyst ink, an electrocatalyst layer, a membrane-electrode assembly, and a polymer electrolyte fuel cell having a cell performance of high catalyst dispersibility, high power generation efficiency, and high catalyst using efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: An electrocatalyst ink used to form an electrocatalyst layer of a polymer electrolyte fuel cell comprises solvents and conductive particles carrying a polymer electrolyte and a catalyst. The solvents are of two or more kinds.
