<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a cable from being exposed, to execute an electrostatic countermeasure, to facilitate an access to the cable, to enhance working efficiencies in assembling work and disassembling work of an image forming part and an image reading part, and to facilitate maintenance. <P>SOLUTION: In this image forming apparatus, a scanner part 1 is electrically connected to a printer part 2 by the cable 4, and the scanner part 1 is turned, with respect to the printer part 2 to be connected in a relatively openable and closable manner. The printer part 2 is provided with a connector part 7 and is provided removably with a cable cover 5 for covering the cable 4 connected to the connector part 7 under an opened state of the scanner part 1, in a direction along a wire of the cable 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
