PURPOSE: A method for preparing a heat-resistant separator for a lithuim secondary battery is provided to prepare a separator with high ion conductivity of electrolyte by controlling a porosity of separator through the control of relative humidity. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a heat-resistant separator for a lithuim secondary battery comprises the steps of: preparing a polymer electrolyte; applying the polymer electrolyte on a porous film; and irradiating electron beam to the porous film. The polymer electrolyte is the mixture of a polyelectrolyte or a polyelectrolyte and cross-linking agent. The polymer is chlorotrifluoroethylene, polyvinylidene fluoride or polyvinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene copolymer.
