SQUIRREL-CAGE ROTOR OF AN ASYNCHRONOUS MACHINE

A squirrel-cage rotor of an asynchronous machine relates to machinery building and may be used in transport industry. The rotor comprises a sheet core in slots of which winding bars connected from butt ends by cage rings are installed. The said rings have inside diameter that is equal to diameter of a rotor shaft and inside diameter of the sheet core. Both of cage rings are put on the shaft and tight border with the sheet core. From both sides of the said core, distance rings are fixed, outside circle of which does not get to bars. The invention provides improvement of manufacturing technique of the rotor, reduction of axial sizes of the rotor and improving the reliability of rotor design.
