<p>The filter insert (12) is arranged transversely with respect to the direction of flow (22) through it. Whether the flow is upward or downward, the filter lies horizontally with its inlet opening (16) at the side. In the case that the flow direction is horizontal, the inlet opening of the filter points upwardly. The heating circuit can be shut-off to clean the filter. The filter is extracted from a normally-closed side opening (24) for cleaning. The closure is an outlet cap with an integral plug (26) or valve.</p> |
