PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building allowing the effective use of a garage space. SOLUTION: The building 10 is provided with a garage 11 provided with a movable shutter device 30. The shutter device 30 comprises a liftable shutter curtain 31 and a shutter box 32 for enclosing the shutter curtain 31. A garage ceiling surface 26 is provided with a guide rail 27 extending in the depth direction of the garage 11. The shutter device 30 is supported hanging to the guide rail 27 and movable along the guide rail 27 in the hanging state. The garage space 16 can thereby be partitioned into a plurality of spaces 45, 46 by moving the shutter device 30 to the inner side from a garage opening 19 and lowering the shutter curtain 31.
