PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel type game machine capable of being sufficiently satisfactory in a wide player layer from a game beginner to a game expert, while keeping game properties such as the technical intervention of spot pressing and the selection of a stop operation order. SOLUTION: The reel type game machine is configured to pull in symbols capable of configuring any winning role at maximum within a prescribed frame number range according to a prescribed priority order when the plurality of winning roles can be established, and is provided with a stop control section (400) for determining the stop symbol of a reel to be stopped later according to the stop symbol pattern of a reel stopped in advance, reporting section (6, 16, 380) capable of reporting information relating to drawing result information by a winning role drawing section to a player, and a reporting control section (420) for controlling the reporting section. The reporting control section (420) makes the reporting section execute assist reporting which makes it possible to specify a specified winning role group among winning role groups for which winning roles having specified common elements are extracted and grouped.
