METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING CONTAINER-LIKE MOLDING, AND CONTAINER-LIKE MOLDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and inexpensively make a high quality container-like molding of a fluoroethylene resin with no fluctuation in quality. SOLUTION: The container-like molding 12 is produced by vacuum molding a sheet material 11 to a predetermined shape after heating the unextended and monolayer sheet material 11 constituted of a heat-fusible fluoroethylene resin having a melting point of X°C to a temperature of (X-60)°C to (X+30)°C by a heater 14. The heating temperature of the sheet material 11 is set to (X-60)°C to X°C in the case that the sheet material 11 is constituted of a fluoroethylene resin (PTFE resin is excluded) with a melt flow rate of 0.5 to 20 g/10 min. In the case of using the sheet material 11 constituted of a PTFE resin, the heating temperature of the sheet material 11 is set to (X-30)°C to (X+30)°C when the PTFE resin is modified PTFE or a mixed resin of modified PTFE and a PTFE homopolymer, and the heating temperature of the sheet material is set to X°C to (X+30)°C when the PTFE resin is the PTFE homopolymer.
