PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of quickly, continuously, and collectively constructing a parking device in a void without being largely affected by the progress of construction work for a building skeleton. SOLUTION: This method of constructing the multistory parking device comprises a beam installation step of removing a form for the concrete of the inner wall 3a of the void 3 and installing a beam 31 for suspension at the uppermost part of the void 3 having a void ceiling in a vaulted state, a working table suspending step of liftably suspending a gondola 38 from a suspension beam 31, a lift suspending step of suspending an electric winch 40 serving as a lift from the suspension beam 31, a tower construction step of conveying tower members by a worker riding on the gondola 38 using the electric winch 40 and constructing the parking tower 4 of the multistory parking device 1 from the lower layer to the upper layer, and an installation step of installing machinery including a conveyor for conveying the stored vehicles in the constructed parking tower 4.
