PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lane keeping assist device and a control parameter changing method capable of improving both easiness of override and a system working factor. SOLUTION: The lane keeping assist device 100 assists the operation for travelling in a travelling lane divided by a lane-dividing line, and stops the assist when the amount of operation not less than a threshold of cancellation determination by a driver is detected. The lane keeping assist device 100 is characterized by comprising: a keeping power detection means 23, 31 for detecting a steering holding force of a steering member 21 by the driver; and cancellation threshold determination means 32, 33 for changing the threshold of cancellation determination according to the steering holding force.
