PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an ice shaving machine comprising an outer case having the roughly-polygonal section and rotated and driven by a motor 12, an inner case 2 similarly having the roughly-polygonal cross section and fitted into an internal space of the outer case 1, a cutting blade supporting rack 4 faced to a lower end opening of the outer case 1, and a pressing member 4 inserted to the inner case 2, to prevent a material ice block 15 charged into the inner case 2, from dropping and swiftly colliding with the cutting blade 15 to prevent breakage of the cutting blade 15. SOLUTION: A leaf-spring baffle plate 14 is disposed inside of the inner case 2. The baffle plate 14 prevents dropping of the material ice block 15 by its weight, and elastically deforms when the material ice block 15 is pressed by the pressing member 4, to prevent the downward movement of the material ice block 15 in the inner case 2.
