PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering reaction force generation control device in which cost can be suppressed, measurement time can be shortened, and an abnormal condition of each motor can be diagnosed when reaction force is generated by a plurality of motors. SOLUTION: A control unit 4 includes a block configuration for diagnosis composed of a motor drive command value calculating part 42, a diagnosis start part 43, a diagnosis part 44, and a motor drive permitting part 45 for diagnosing a first reaction force generation motor 16 and a second reaction generation motor 17 at the same time based on a diagnostic steering angle detected by an angle sensor 7 after making the first reaction force generation motor 16 and the second reaction force generation motor 17 perform diagnostic drive of a prescribed control amount to forcibly generate the diagnostic steering angle.
