NONWOVEN FABRIC AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric having suppressed rigidity increase and excellent flexibility and free from the collapse and falling of the ridge parts and the closure of openings. SOLUTION: The nonwoven fabric has alternately arranged ridge parts 20 and groove parts 30 extending in one direction, and the groove part 30 has open holes 31. The ridge part 20 has higher fiber quantity than that of the groove part 30. The fiber is collapsed near the end of the opened hole 31. The nonwoven fabric 10 contains 50 wt.% or more of self-welding fiber and the fibers are thermally welded with each other. The distance between the centers of the fibers at the welded part is larger than the sum of the center to the outer face of the fibers. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
