PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll type fluid machine capable of improving compression efficiency and durability while reducing manufacturing cost, a processing method and a processing device therefor. SOLUTION: This scroll type fluid machine comprises fixed and movable scrolls 8, 6 respectively provided with a pair of spiral laps 14, 16 standing on mirror plate surfaces 10a, 12a of mirror plates 10, 12, wherein, by revolution movement of the movable scroll with respect to the fixed scroll, a compression chamber 20 for a working fluid is formed between the laps, and the compression chamber moves toward the innermost circumferential portions 32 of the laps while the volume thereof is being reduced. The laps of at least one of the movable scroll and the fixed scroll have a concave surface portion 34 where a surface formed by the tips of the laps becomes a spheroidal or spherical surface having a predetermined curvature.
