[Class 75 (iv)] In a lamp for illuminating vehicle instruments, comprising a lamp shroud 8 surrounding a bulb-holder 1, and switch contact parts 9, 10 on the shroud and bulb-holder to switch the bulb on and off when the shroud is moved relatively to the holder, the contacts are integral parts pressed up from the holder and shroud. The holder 1 is carried by a housing 2 with an insulating sleeve 3 between. The parts 1, 2 are correctly located by projections 4, 5 lying in a longitudinal slot in the sleeve 3. A projection 12 on the shroud 8 engages in a T-shaped slot or depression on the housing 2. The movement, instead of being rotary, may be sliding, or rotary and sliding. |
