PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver photographing system and a driver photographing method capable of easily verifying a photographing direction of a photographing device for photographing a driver. SOLUTION: The photographing device is installed on a steering column of the vehicle and photographs a driver's seat direction of the vehicle. In a fixture, a marker becoming an object to be photographed of the photographing device is drawn, and the fixture can be attached/detached to the steering wheel of the vehicle. A determination part determines the photographing state of the photographing device based on a position of the marker in the photographed image photographed by the photographing device.
