<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method by which a pelletlike electrode can be manufactured without causing a compacting failure even if the weight percentage of a binder in a mixture is ≤1 wt.% when the mixture is manufactured by pressure molding. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the pelletlike electrode is provided, according to which the mixture composed of an active material and the binder is pressure molded in a die to manufacture the electrode. The die has a base material of ≥1,450 HV or more in hardness and a portion in contact with the mixture that has a friction coefficient of ≤0.35. The base material of the die may be made of a cemented carbide. The portion in contact with the mixture may be coated with a chromium nitride film or a DLC film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
