<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manipulator and a manipulator system capable of achieving injection operation such as ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection) without using mercury for an injection capillary. <P>SOLUTION: The manipulator includes: an actuator having a screw shaft having a screw on its outer circumference side, a motor supporting a rotary shaft to freely move in a shaft direction and driving and rotating the rotary shaft, a screw element fixed to the rotary shaft and screw-coupled with the screw shaft, and supporting the screw shaft to freely move in the shaft direction, and a fine movement mechanism finely moving and driving the rotary shaft in the shaft direction in accordance with an applied voltage to a piezoelectric element; and a capillary attached through the screw shaft and linearly driven back and forth in the shaft direction, wherein a tip 35a of the capillary 35 is filled with an inactive liquid 35c, and the inactive liquid in the capillary is moved by the drive of the piezoelectric element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
