<p>An apparatus and a method for pairing terminals in a UL MIMO system are provided to increase service quality by pairing the terminals that are in good state based on a CINR(Carrier to interference and Noise Ratio). A terminal arranging unit(230) sequentially arranges the terminals that enable C-MIMO(Collaborative MIMO), and a terminal pairing unit(250) pairs the terminals based on the arranged order. A channel correlation calculator(240) calculates the channel correlation for the combination of a pair of terminals that enable the C-MIMO. The terminal pairing unit pairs first and second ranking terminals above all, and performs terminal pairing for every period.</p> |
