PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impedance adjusting device which reduces processing quantity and improves an antenna gain, and also to provide an impedance adjusting method and a wireless communication device. SOLUTION: In a wireless receiver 100, an antenna impedance deviation index calculation section 130 calculates frequency transition of VSWR characteristic on the basis of a difference of measured quality among subcarriers on both ends of frequency band under use, and an antenna impedance matching adjusting section 105 adjusts impedance of an impedance circuit on the basis of the frequency transition of the calculated VSWR characteristic. Thus, a difference of the measured quality among subcarriers on both ends of the frequency band under use is used to simply obtain the frequency transition of VSWR characteristic by small computational complexity. The impedance is adjusted based on the frequency transition of the VSWR characteristic, so that processing quantity is reduced, and an antenna gain as well as a communication quality is improved.
