PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator car with a noise absorption and insulation device capable of maintaining a sound insulation property, and restraining a track space of the noise absorption and insulation device when a door is opened/closed small. SOLUTION: This noise absorption and insulation device 51a comprises an elastic member 55 and a holding member 56. The elastic member 55 has a base part 61 fixed to a side part 53 of a door 37a, and a lip part 62 which is a free end and is opposed to an end 42a of a folding part 42 along a door closing direction. When the door is closed, the lip part 62 is pressed against the end 42a of the folding part 42, so as to seal a gap S between the door 37a and an entrance column 33a. A holding member 56 has a fixing part 65 for fixing the elastic member 55 to the door 37a, and a lip energizing part 66 arranged to the fixing part 65 on a car room 22 side and provided to the fixing part 65 and inclined in a door opening direction, so as to hold the lip part 62 of the elastic member 55 to a posture bent relative to the base part 61 in the door opening direction when the door is opened.
