A laundry treating apparatus is provided to increase the efficiency of the flowing air by controlling the size of a path according to the driving state. A laundry treating apparatus comprises an outer case, a washing tub, a top lid, and an air flow assembly(100). The outer case forms the external shape. The washing tub is mounted on the inner side of the outer case. The washing tub accommodates the laundry. The top lid is installed on the upper side of the outer case to be opened and closed. The air flow assembly is installed at the upper side of the top lid. The air flow assembly gradually controls the size of a flow path connected with outside.
