<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector for preventing a card from being erroneously inserted in a direction other than a predetermined direction. <P>SOLUTION: This card connector C includes: a housing 100 having a slot 105a allowing a card 10 to be inserted therein; a slider 200 slidably formed in the slot 105a; and a position restriction spring 700a arranged in the slot 105a. The slider 200 includes a lock arm 213a. The lock arm 213a includes a first lock part 213a1 projecting toward the card 10, and a second lock part 213a2 projecting in a direction opposite to the first lock part 213a1. When the card 10 is inserted in a direction other than the predetermined direction, the first lock part 213a1 is pressed by the card 10, and the lock arm 213a is elastically deformed in a direction separating from the card 10, whereby the second lock part 213a2 is locked to a projecting piece 750a of the position restriction means 700a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
