The arrangement has an air conditioning device embedded into a rack (30) and comprising a housing such that the air conditioning device is adapted to the 19 inch technology. A supply air opening of the conditioning device is connected with a chamber that surrounds a side of rows at a distance during single-row arrangement of the racks. The supply air opening is connected to a warm and cold channel during multi-row arrangement of racks between the warm and cold channel and a discharge air opening of the air conditioning device. An independent claim is also included for a method for cooling a heat-delivering electrical device.
