Solar cell and method for producing high doped regions on the front surface of a solar cell

The emitter-wrap-through solar cells (10) comprises a planar semiconductor substrate with a front side (11) and a rear side which are connected with mutiple holes (14).The front side of highly doped regions (21) and weakly doped regions (22) has a doping type in such a manner that the holes (14) lie or adjoin in a highly-doped region. The highly doped regions are arranged locally around the holes. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method of producing emitter-wrap-through solar cells (2) a structured diffusion mask.
