<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-layered information recording medium of a reliable configuration. <P>SOLUTION: An information recording medium of 2 layers is manufactured by forming a 1st and 2nd information recording and reproducing sections separately in advance on each layer of an information recording medium and integrating those recording and reproducing sections through a transparent adhesive layer. Each information recording and reproducing section has grooves to record information and lands adjacent to them. The groove section of the 2nd recording layer is made thinner than the groove section of the 1st recording layer. The optical phase of the unrecorded groove section in the 1st recording layer is made the same as the optical phase of the recorded groove in the 2nd recording layer. The optical phase of the unrecorded groove section in the 2nd recording layer is made the same as the optical phase of the recorded groove in the 1st recording layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
