A copper pipe welding apparatus is provided to maximize efficiency and convenience in welding work by outputting a signal indicating the points of time when a copper pipe or copper pipe joint has reached the optimum welding temperature and the welding has completed. A copper pipe welding apparatus comprises a body(105), a carbon tip(120), left and right handle heads(130), a temperature sensor(160), a handle(110), a signal controller, and a signal output unit. The carbon tip makes contact with a copper pipe and a copper pipe joint supply heat to them. The left and right handle heads is fitted with the carbon tip and located apart from each other. The temperature sensor is installed in one end of the left or/and the right handle head and measures the heated temperature of the copper pipe or/and the copper pipe joint. The handle is extended from the left and right handle heads and connected to the left and right sides of the body. The signal control unit determines the point of time when the temperature has reached the optimum welding temperature or the welding has completed, based on the temperature value measured by the temperature sensor. The signal control unit outputs a signal indicating one of the states where the temperature value has reached the optimum welding temperature, the welding has completed, and power is supplied.
