PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic one-component type developer not causing offset phenomenon in the pressure fixation method, by incorporating a thermoplastic resin, a fine magnetic powder, and polyvinylidene fluoride in a specified proportion. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic resin, such as polyethylene, is used as a binder, an amt. of magnetic powder almost same as this is added, and further, polyvinylidene fluoride is added by 1-20wt% of them. The compsn. is kneaded with heating in a pair of rolls, finely pulverized after cooling and soldifying, and resulting in obtaining a one-component type developer having about 15mum average particle diameter. Said developer contains polyvinylidene chloride having superior lubricity, so the developer is almost prevented from melt sticking to the pressing rolls, a developing sleeve, a photoreceptor surface, etc., and from blocking or the like during storage, and it has sufficient pressure fixability. |
