<p>A goods sorting machine improves its sorting capability without causing damage of goods or sorting defects to successfully deal with higher-speed operation of a carrier conveyer line (2). On the opposite side of a sort conveyer line (3) with the carrier conveyer line (2) in between, a pair of top/bottom sorter means (7) are provided which are horizontally rotatable around the same vertical axle center A such that a carrier pan P on a branch section (4) is pushed out toward the sort conveyer line (3). Each of the sorter means (7) has a rotary shaft (10) arranged on the axle center A, an extruding arm (11) to stretch in the direction intersecting with the axle center A while rotating integrally with the rotary shaft (10), and an electric motor (12) to drive rotation of the rotary shaft (10) around the axle center A. Both of the top/bottom sorter means (7) are configured to horizontally rotate independently of each other.</p>
