PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate irregularity of parameters while lowering of accuracy of a color conversion table is controlled. SOLUTION: First, a basic table showing correspondence to CMYK values of a specific lattice point among the lattice points in the RGB color space is produced (S101 to S108). Next, the CMYK value of a non-specific lattice point other than the specific lattice point is calculated to produce a color conversion table of RGB→CMYK based on the CMYK value of the specific lattice point (S109 to S114). Next, a smoothing process is executed (S115) to mitigate irregularity of the CMYK value by compensating the CMYK value of each relevant lattice point of the color conversion table based on the CMYK values of the lattice points existing in the periphery of the relevant lattice point. In more detail, compensation is adjusted to obtain the equal CMYK values of the specific lattice points before and after the smoothing processes and moreover the CMYK values of the non-specific points existing in the neighboring areas of the specific lattice points are adjusted considering adjustment values of the specific lattice points.
