PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile electronic device capable of emitting light to an outside of a housing while preventing reduction of the strength of the housing. SOLUTION: In a rear case 25 in which an opening 253 is formed for emitting to the outside light emitted from an LED 28, a sheet metal member 26 that is a metal member having high rigidity is formed in an end region 252 of the rear case, the sheet metal member 26 is exposed to the outside of a first housing 101 in the end region 252, and light emitted from the LED 28 is efficiently reflected and diffused via a light guide 24 by the sheet metal member 26 constituted of the metal member having high light reflectance and high diffusion rate. Furthermore, the sheet metal member 26 is L-shaped while including a first front surface 261 parallel to width and length directions of the housing and a second front surface 262 parallel to thickness and length directions of the first housing 101.
