PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner having an electrostatic atomization device capable of securely generating electrostatic mist and easily assembled to an indoor unit. SOLUTION: The indoor unit is provided with a bypass flow passage for bypassing a main flow passage communicating a suction port with a blowout port; a partition wall for separating the bypass flow passage from the main flow passage; the electrostatic atomization device having an electrostatic atomization unit 30 provided in the bypass flow passage and generating electrostatic mist; and a discharge flow passage part 70 constituting a discharge part of the bypass flow passage. When the discharge flow passage part 70 is mounted to a frame 46 of an indoor unit body and the electrostatic atomization unit 30 is mounted to the frame 46, the electrostatic atomization unit 30 and the discharge flow passage part 70 are interconnected.
