PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a falling prevention holder of a screw capable of not only mounting screw and washer into a screw hole in a work by one hand holding a screwdriver but also removing the screw, etc. without dropping or scattering the screw, etc., only if the screwdriver is operated by one hand without pressing the screw, etc. by a hand, also when removing the screw and washer. SOLUTION: This falling prevention holder is provided with: a holder body 2 provided with a screwdriver insertion hole 3 having a first opening 4 for inserting the screwdriver in one end face and a second opening 5 communicated with a screw hole 32 in the other end face; and a holding member 10 slidably supported by the holder body 2 so that a distal end part 11 may be freely projected and plunged into the second opening 5 and supporting a male screw part of the screw by the distal end part 11 when the distal end part 11 is projected into the second opening 5.
